Memento – keeps my mind
In May 2017 a new European project named MEMENTO started. The aim of this collaboration project is to provide a solution which is addressing the different memory loss. The developed solution will help to remember daily events, to keep new information made, help to recognize people, situations and places as well as to help separating fact from fiction. The project will provide a technical solution which will be designed, developed and tested with a strong user involvement starting with the beginning of the project.
The project team is very diverse and combines experts from different domains. Experts from the medical domain (Medical University of Vienna, University Clinic in Perugia as well as Bidaideak – and care center in Spain), technology research experts (AIT Austrian Institute of Technology GmbH) as well as design specialists (BKM Design Studio) are working together to provide a solutions which is easy to use and follows the needs of the target group. Industrial partners (VirtualWare, WeTouch, Integris and Citard Services Ltd.) in the consortium will focus on a solution which can be soon available on the market.
The project is funded by the Active and Assisted Living Program which is supporting projects developing Information and Communication Technology (ICT) which is improving the Quality of Live of older adults.
