Excited to Present the LETHE Project at AD/PD 2025 in Vienna!

I am thrilled to announce that I will be presenting the LETHE Project at the prestigious AD/PD – Advances in Science & Therapy Conference in April 2025 in Vienna.

Titled “Dementia Risk Reduction through a Multidomain Lifestyle Intervention Supported by a Mobile App and Wearable Combination”, the talk will showcase the innovative intervention setup developed within LETHE, designed to empower individuals at risk of dementia.

What is LETHE?

LETHE is a cutting-edge project that focuses on multidomain lifestyle interventions for dementia prevention. It combines evidence-based strategies—like physical activity, nutrition, and cognitive engagement—into a user-friendly, ICT-supported app integrated with wearable technology. Inspired by the successful FINGER study protocol, LETHE offers personalized guidance to delay dementia onset and promote brain health.

Why AD/PD?

The AD/PD Conference is one of the leading international gatherings for experts, clinicians, and researchers in the fields of Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and related neurological disorders. This event highlights the latest advancements in therapy, prevention, and care strategies, making it a key platform to share impactful innovations like LETHE.

Why It Matters

Dementia poses a growing challenge for individuals, families, and healthcare systems worldwide. While risk factors like physical inactivity, poor nutrition, and social isolation are well-known contributors, studies show that lifestyle changes can lower the risk of dementia or mitigate its early symptoms. LETHE aims to bring these lifestyle interventions to people through digital solutions—making prevention accessible, engaging, and sustainable.

I look forward to connecting with fellow researchers, practitioners, and innovators at AD/PD 2025 and sharing insights on how technology can transform dementia prevention. Together, we can shape a future where healthy aging and dementia risk reduction are within everyone’s reach.

Stay tuned for more updates as we approach this exciting event!
